The Piazza at Schmidts
Branding and Activation
Working closely with Bart Blatstein for over a year to help him realize his vision for a new piazza and building complex, one of the many opportunities was to develop a visual identity for the new destination. In order to capture its spirit, we created a hand drawn logo based on the scalloped pavers that mark the site. The icon is paired with typefaces that evoke the European influence while echoing the modernity of the new buildings that encompass the piazza. We have since extended the identity into signage, way-finding, and collateral.
